LE ROY — Southern Coffey County High’s boys blasted open what had been a tenuous one-point lead with a 21-5 fourth-quarter run.
The spurt turned a 32-31 lead into a 53-36 win over visiting Madison High.
Balanced scoring was the name of the game for the Titans, who trailed 15-14 after one quarter and 25-23 at intermission.
Five Southern Coffey County players scored at least eight points and four reached double figures.
Aaron Ludolph led the way with 13 points, followed by Trevor Smith with 11 and Ben Spencer and Travis Bryan with 10 points each.
Kale Schankie paced Madison with nine points.
