High School Golf: Yates Center Wildcats
Yates Center picked up second-place team medals at the Pleasanton High School Invitational at Deer Trace golf course.
The Wildcats were only seven strokes from first place Jayhawk-Linn.
Reece Solander picked up the first win of his high school career, finishing first while shooting a 78.
Easton Reynolds finished right behind So-lander with a 79 and a third-place finish.
Taven Smoot (99) finished 14th, Kaden Petit (104) finished 18th and Jaylan Knight (113) finished 26th.
I am very proud of the way everyone played today and I am excited to see the three first-year players continue to lower their scores, head coach Kevin Barnes said.
Yates Center will compete on April 26 at Sedan.
