OSAGE CITY — Area Three Rivers League Teams now turn their attention to Thursday’s regional meet after wrapping up the regular season with Friday’s TRL Championship.
The Crest Lady Lancers finished the highest among area teams, taking third in the team standings.
Several athletes from Marmaton Valley, Southern Coffey County and Yates Center also shone at the regular season finale.
SCC senior John Rolf and Maramaton Valley sophomore Jeremiah Jones were the area’s only TRL titlists. Rolf took first in the javelin with a 151’ 4” throw.
Jones took first in the shot put with a 41’ 9” throw. Marmaton Valley junior Dagan Barney took second in the discus with a 111’ 1” throw and junior Hannah Schmidt took second in the long jump with a 16’ 2.25” leap and third in the 100-meter dash (13.89).
