Bob Seaton and Herk Russell received Eagle Scout awards, the highest award in Scouting. Howard Lust, Explorer adviser for Post 54, presented the awards in a ceremony at First Christian Church.

The Kent Store in Humboldt has been sold to Courtney Moles, it was announced today by Mrs. W. R. Kent, former owner. Moles has been with Continental Baking Co. for 17 years.

Ambulance service in Iola will be available again beginning tomorrow, said Warren Fultz, who recently purchased the City Taxi Service formerly operated by Alta White. Fultz said he will have both ambulances back in operation. The service formerly operated by Mrs. Alta White in conjunction with the taxi service, has been temporarily discontinued during the change of ownership.
