Iola couple win Ford truck

Iolans Vicki and Russell Vaughn were the winners in a drawing for a 2025 Ford F-150, decked in Kansas City Chiefs-themed stickers, sponsored by a number of dealerships from across the Midwest.

Vicki and Russell Vaughn of Iola are the lucky winners of a brand-new 2025 Ford F-150 XLT. Dealerships from across the Midwest participated in the raffle; the Vaughns’ entry was one of more than 30,000 received.

Barney Barnett and Blake Appling of Twin Motors handed over the keys to the new owners Friday.

The truck comes stylized with Kansas City Chiefs-themed stickers sure to make it a one-of-a-kind vehicle around town. That’s just fine with Vicki and Russell, huge fans of the team. They’d already installed their Chiefs vanity plate before driving the truck off…
