Lighthouse Ministries, a Beacon of Light and Hope hosted a worship service at the bandstand on Iola’s square Thursday evening, leading an audience of about 100 in praise songs that were followed by a sermon from evangelist Timothy Genoble.
The ministerial group was founded in 2017 and features three generations of the Genoble family, as Genoble’s sons Michael and Timothy Jr. play active roles along with granddaughter Maddie Peterson.
Two more worship services are planned for 7 p.m. June 10 and June 25.
