Allen Community College music students showcased their talents during a spring student recital concert held Wednesday night on Allen’s campus.
The performance featured a wide range of piano, instrumental and vocal selections, along with ensemble works, demonstrating the musical growth of ACC students throughout the semester. Students performed solo works on piano, trumpet, clarinet, trombone and saxophone, as well as vocal selections before a live audience of peers, faculty and community members.
The program also included ensemble performances by the Allen Community College Concert Choir and the Allen Red Devil Jazz Combo, both directed by ACC Music Instructor Patrick Matarazzo.
“Our students put in countless hours preparing for this recital, and it showed,” said Matarazzo. “Events like this provide invaluable performance experience while celebrating the hard work they’ve done this semester.”
