Chantal Catron and Matthew Sullivan, Iola, announce the birth of a son, Jacob Michael Catron, born Feb. 28, 2011, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. He weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Monica Catron and Dennis Catron Jr., and paternal grandparents are Susan and Rick Sullivan, all of Iola.
Great-grandparents are Raymond and Mary Ellen Dix, Iola, Nancy and Larry Pollett, Independence, Dennis and Anita Catron, Iola, and Betty Riley. Clarence Pollet, LaHarpe, is his great-great-grandfather.
