The best of Broadway will be showcased Saturday night in Neil Berg’s celebrated 100 Years of Broadway.
The musical revue recreates the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century with the stars themselves from the productions of “Phantom of the Opera,” “Cats,” “Les Miserables,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Jekyll & Hyde” taking the stage.
Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $17 for the orchestra; $15 for the balcony. Full-time students get in at half-price.
Tickets may be purchased at either Iola Pharmacy or the Bowlus Center.
The revue is two-plus hours of entertainment that takes the audience through American musical theater’s greatest hits. Songs from Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Billy Joel and Frankie Valli, among many others are featured.
As producer and conductor to the band and touring company, Berg masterfully creates an enchanted evening.
The performance is funded by the Sleeper Trust.
