The popular gospel trio The Booth Brothers will return to the Bowlus Fine Arts Center Saturday to mark the season opener for the 2010-11 Southeast Kansas Christian Artist Series.
And, much like their past appearances, tickets sold like hotcakes, said Dee Singer, a SEKCAS organizer.
Orchestra seating for Saturday’s 6 p.m. performance is sold out for now.
“But what we don’t know is whether we have any ticket holders who cannot come and would be willing to turn theirs in,” Singer said.
Those who have unused tickets are urged to contact Singer at 365-7496.
Balcony seating is being swept up rapidly as well.
“I’m certain that if we had elevator access, the balcony would be sold out by now as well,” she said.
Advance tickets sell for $15 for orchestra and $12 for balcony. If available, tickets sold on show night go for $18 and $15, respectively.
Those seeking to purchase tickets are urged to contact Singer in advance as well.
The Booth Brothers last performed in Iola in the 2009 Gospel Music Jamboree to capacity crowds.
Singer expects another entertaining and enlightening evening.
“They always put on a good show,” she said.
One of the three members, Michael Booth, will be at Iola’s First Christian Church, 1608 Oregon Rd., on Sunday morning at 10:30 to deliver the morning message as part of the church’s regular service.
