With the ground saturated, and rains expected to return by the end of the week, the Iola Police Department announced its annual Hooked on Fishing, Not On Drugs (HOFNOD) fishing derby has been postponed.
Originally slated for Saturday at Abbott’s Pond on North Cottonwood Street, the event has been reset for July 19.
