YATES CENTER — The Yates Center Police Department will upgrade its communications system, purchase a new patrol vehicle and replace some of its aging body armor, courtesy of a $146,000 federal earmark.
The announcement came from Sen. Jerry Moran at a Friday press conference, where he spoke with Yates Center Police Chief Michael Strode.
