Donald Becker
Donald Becker is a Hoisington native, who moved to Iola in 1994 after retiring from a 35-year career in the oil refining industry.
He is a six-year member of the Iola Planning Commission and a five-year member of the Kansas Water Board.
Jim Kilby
Jim Kilby served as a police officer for 34 years before retiring as police chief in 2008.
In 2009, he unsuccessfully challenged Bill Shirley for a seat on the city commission.
He served on the charter ordinance committee appointed by city commissioners to study what Iola’s new governing body should be.
Eugene Myrick
Eugene Myrick is retired after working 18 years for the Kansas Army National Guard and six years in active duty with the Army Reserves.
He also worked 15 years for USD 257.
He is employed as a paper carrier for The Iola Register.
