MV picks Young Authors

Marmaton Valley Elementary School students qualified to attend the final Allen County Young Authors program April 21 in Iola. Students wrote books and 34 finalists in grades 1-6 were selected to attend the program. This years authors are a husband and wife team: Eric Rohmann, illustrator and picture book author; and Candace Fleming, who has written more than 20 books for children including historical and picture books.
