High School Softball: Humboldt Lady Cubs
The online sports publication Sports in Kansas named three members of the Humboldt Lady Cubs softball team to its 3A all-state first and second teams on Wednesday.
Morgan Mauk, an incoming senior who will play in the outfield, was named to the first team after hitting .671 throughout the season and stealing 60 bases.
Graduated senior pitcher Rylan Wilhite and incoming junior catcher Winter Snyder both earned second team honors.
Wilhite pitched in every game and ended the year with a 20-3 record while Snyder had a .641 batting average with 43 RBIs and five home runs.
