Williams’s AG duties detailed

Allen County Commissioner Tom Williams will soon join the Kansas Attorney General’s office to lead fraud and abuse investigations.
The lead paragraph in a Wednesday article detailing Williams’s new duties was vague enough that some thought he was investigating the AG’s office itself.
Williams, who served as Allen County sheriff for eight years prior to being elected county commissioner in 2012, is leaving his county commission seat later this month to accommodate his new job.
