Ethel Lorraine Cellers (Castle) died at 101 years of age on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025 at her home in Iola.
Ethel was born to Albert Wire and Elizabeth Ethel Castle (Kiggins) in Burlington on March 2, 1924.
She married Thomas Eugene Cellers Sr. on Nov. 14, 1942, in Burlington.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband and sons, Randy and Thomas Jr.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Sharyl Lo Cellers-Zajic, Iola.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. A graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, in Graceland Cemetery, Burlington.
Memorials are suggested to St. Luke’s Hospice — South Branch, and may be left with the funeral home at 1883 U.S. 54, Iola.
