Thomas Eugene Cellers Sr. and Ethel Lorene Castle were married Nov. 14, 1942, in Burlington.
They relocated to Iola in 1954 when Tom became the shop chief at the Iola branch of the National Guard. Tom was in the Guard for 37 years before retiring. Ethel was a homemaker and has kept the home fires burning throughout their marriage.
The couple has two children; Sharyl Zajic of Iola, and Tom Jr. and his wife, Dr. Diane Bodemann, of Hot Springs, Ark. There are five grandchildren: Nicole Hines and her husband, Shawn, of Iola; Scott Cellers…
