Michael Lynn Troxell, 48, grandson of Marjorie Klimek and her companion, Dan Arbuckle, of Moran, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011.
He was born Dec. 4, 1962 in Ventura, Calif., to Mary Ann Troxell (Klimek) and Dale Ray Troxell and was a lifelong Ventura County resident. He went to local schools and enjoyed playing sports. He participated in wrestling, football and baseball. He was always a busy youth as he worked hard, played hard and made many friends along the way. After high school he entered the construction industry and took advantage of skills in carpentry for the family construction business for several years. He liked his job and it always showed in his work.
On Aug. 15, 1987, he married Tammy Jean Sanders-Troxell.
She survives, as do his children, twins, Michael Troxell and Chelsie Troxell, and stepdaughter, Leann Reinhart (Alvarado); his brother, Ronald D.; sister, Sharon D. Troxell (Lawson); stepsisters, Debbie Spickard and Gwen Troxell; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Project Understanding, 43 E. Vince St., Ventura, CA 93001.
Channel Islands, Cremations & Crematory, A Heritage Life Tribute Center, Ventura, assisted the family with arrangements.
