The calendar says it’s only February, but Iola High’s girls gave the home crowd a heaping helping of March Madness Tuesday.

Iola Elementary School’s first- and fourth-grade classes presented “The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors” Tuesday in front of a packed house at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center.

Despite becoming extinct 65 million years ago, dinosaurs roared onto the Bowlus Fine Arts Center stage Friday evening, delighting show-goers of all ages for the “Dinosaur World Live” interactive show.

With the 2023-24 high school wrestling season hitting its home stretch, Iola and Humboldt grapplers are positioning themselves for league and regional competitions in the coming weeks.
