Doug Desmarteau, Allen Community College’s athletics director, has been placed on paid administrative leave, a college official confirmed Monday.
No reason was given.
Desmarteau, who has served dual roles as the school’s AD and head men’s soccer coach the past several years, ascended to the administrative role full time during the 2024-25 school year.
Brad Henderson, Allen’s public relations director, declined to comment further, aside from saying an investigation into the matter is taking place.
The college is working on a plan to delegate the AD’s responsibilities, Henderson said.
