ARMA — Marmaton Valley Junior High and Crest Middle School athletes were golden in several events Thursday at the Northeast Invitational.
Crest High’s seventh-grade girls won the team trophy, while the Lancer seventh-grade boys took second. In eighth-grade action, the Lady Lancers took fourth and the boys ninth.
Marmaton Valley also had several top finishes, both individually and as a team.
The eighth-grade MV boys took third and the seventh-graders were fourth. Marmaton Valley’s eighth-grade girls took sixth and the seventh-graders took eighth.
Twelve schools from across Kansas, and one from Missouri competed.
