Cub lifters finish seventh overall in state championship

High School Powerlifting: Humboldt Cubs

CONWAY SPRINGS Last Saturday, the Humboldt Power-lifting Team walked away from the 3A State Championship with a seventh-place finish for the boys and an 11th place finish for the girls.

The Cubs had eight athletes place in either individual events or place overall in their weight class. Three athletes placed in the top three overall in their weight class.

Senior Noah Johnson and junior Tucker Hurst finished second and third overall in the 198-pound weight class.
