HUMBOLDT — The Lady Cubs did a lot of things right Tuesday night against Eureka High, according to head coach Sherri Nelson, but it wasn’t enought to edge out a win against the Tornadoes.
“The Lady Cubs lost a hard-fought battle tonight. We did so many things well, but we just didn’t sink enough shots,” Nelson said in an email.
The Cubs lost the contest 43-32 to Eureka High.
Brea Kline led the scoring for the Cubs with eight points, followed by Delaney Umholtz with five and Megan Hudlin with four points. Sheri Middleton brought down 10 boards and Kayle Riebel had six.
