HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt youth softball team has only had one loss this season going into Monday’s doubleheader against Neodesha. But that loss had come at the hands of the Streaks, so Brad Piley’s squad had something to prove on Monday.
Brooklyn Ellis pitched her Humboldt team to a dominating 15-1 victory in game one as Humboldt piled on runs late.
Game two was a much more competitive game, but Humboldt was still able to take a 9-7 win.
The defeat to Neodesha remains its only loss of the year as Humboldt continues to roll through the summer-league softball season.
