HUMBOLDT — Two of Humboldt High’s leading contributors on the softball diamond brought home state honors for their work.
The Lady Cubs’ Breanna Kline and Courtney Richey each earned second-team all-state recognition in Class 3A by the Kansas Association of Softball Coaches.
The duo led the way as Humboldt captured a regional title and advanced to the state tournament in Manhattan.
