There are playoff implications from here on out for area football teams as district play starts Friday.
Iola at Frontenac
The Iola Mustangs (1-2) open district season on the road at Frontenac with a full head of steam following last Friday’s 55-8 victory over Anderson County. The Frontenac Raiders (3-0) come into the contest undefeated with victories over Baxter Springs 15-13, Labette County 33-7 and most recently St. Mary’s Colgan 28-7.
