ERIE — The Crest Middle School Lady Lancers swept the Three Rivers League Junior High Championship after taking the eighth-grade title by 33 points and the seventh-grade title by 28 points.

Staying in girls action, Yates Center had a respectable meet. The eighth-graders took fourth place and the seventh-graders took fifth place. Southern Coffey County, proving size is not a limitation, finished sixth in the eighth grade and the seventh grade while Marmaton Valley finished 10th in the eighth grade and 10th in the seventh grade.

In boys action, the eighth-grade Yates Center Wildcats took third, but they did not have enough seventh-grade results to chart a team finish. Crest took fifth place in the eighth-grade and seventh in the seventh grade.

Marmaton Valley finished ninth in the eight-grade and eight in the seventh grade. Southern Coffey County finished 10th in the eighth grade and ninth in the seventh grade.
