HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Speedway hosted a combined meeting of two late model stock car racing series in Friday’s program. The NCRA and the MARS late model series brought out 35 drivers.
There were five heat races contested then two “B” feature races. All of it was building up to the 40-lap “A” feature race.
Brandon McCormick, who races in the MARS late model series, captured the checkered flag in the main feature race. Terry Phillips was the runner-up as McCormick held off attempts to get past him on the outside.
