Iolan Kaden Macha added to his trophy case over the weekend.
Macha, defending Class 4A golf champion for Iola High, earned first place in the Allen County Country Club Championship Sunday.
Macha carded a 108 over the 27-hole competition to defeat Shane Walden and Russell Cole by three strokes. Walden’s 111 was good for second after he won a playoff against Cole.
Mike Hayes prevailed in the handicap division with a net score of 101. L.C. Lacy was second with a 103. Neal Barclay claimed third at 105.
