Marmaton Valley falls to Oswego, 56-32

OSWEGO — The Three Rivers League may have a new eight-man title holder for the first time in three years after the Oswego Indians upset the Marmaton Valley Wildcats 56-32 in Friday’s season opener.

The Indians jumped out to a 21-8 lead by the end of the first quarter and continued pouring on the points from there.

Despite holding Oswego’s passing game to just 8 yards, the Wildcats had no defense for the Indians’ rushing attack, which racked up 542 yards off a 266-yard, three touchdown performance by junior quarterback Dimitri Williamson and a 148-yard, four…
