MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High girls lost at home Thursday.
The A-team fell behind early then made a comeback. The Wildcats fell just short, losing to visiting Westphalia 27-19.
Lindsey McNeil led the Wildcats with six points. Scoring four points each were Emily Boyd and Cheyenne English.
Tessa Olson and Mackenzie Tynon had two points each and Mariah Root had one point.
Marmaton Valley did win the B-team game 25-18. Tynon and Root scored six points apiece.
Misty Storrer and McNeil had four points each while Kyla Drake and Jodie Holland scored two points each. Molly Hamlin added a point.
No report was received by the Register on the boys’ games.
