RANDOLPH — Marmaton Valley High’s volleyball season came to an end Tuesday, as the Wildcats fell to both of its opponents in the Class 1A-I Regional Tournament.
The Wildcats dropped their opening match to Randolph-Blue Valley — the state’s second-seeded team in Class 1A-I — in straight sets, 25-15 and 25-4.
Then, after a tough start to Northern Heights, falling 25-11 in the first set, the Wildcats rallied in the second, with an early five-point rally. But Northern Heights took control midway through the set to complete the sweep, 25-14.
