It's hard to win a game with only 12 points. It's next to impossible to do that against talented teams like the Central Heights Vikings.

RICHMOND — The Southern Coffey County Titans continue playing for their first win after falling to Central Heights 75-12 Monday night.

The Titans struggled to get on the scoreboard as the Central Heights Vikings quickly outpaced SCC while holding them to just 6 points in the first half.

Junior forward Cyrus Nickel scored four of SCC’s 6 points in the first half while leading SCC with 7 points. Southern Coffey County’s struggles continued in the second half with only Cyrus’ contribution on a drive and a free throw, as well as a 3-pointer by freshman guard Brandon Bussell, lighting up the scoreboard for SCC.

With the loss, the Titans fell to 0-9 and 0-3 in the Three Rivers League.

The Titans hosted Uniontown on Tuesday.

The final scores were not available at press time.
