ARMA — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s boys split a doubleheader Monday evening at Northeast Junior High.
The Wildcat B team won 22-15. Justice Pugh led Marmaton Valley with 10 points, followed by Robert Muse with six and Keifer Endicott, Trevor Wilson and Derek Nixon with two points apiece.
The A team lost 50-25.
Wilson scored eight points followed by Pugh with seven and Robert Muse with six. Nixon scored two, while Jake Kale and Tristan Fraker each had a point.
“We had a few guys hurt or sick tonight, so we only had 11 guys which made for some pretty tired legs at the end of the night,” Wildcat coach Scott Brady said. “However, you could tell we were coming off a holiday break. It wasn’t our best performance.”
The Wildcats return to the hardwoods next Monday at Crest.
