Bob and Pat Shields celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16.
The couple were married on Sept. 16, 1946, at the Cathedral in St. Joseph, Mo.
They have eight children, 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
