Humboldt’s elementary and middle schools have announced their Young Author winners selected to attend this weekend’s Young Authors Conference, the 19th and final such celebration in Allen County. We are so grateful for the Sleeper Trust and the Bowlus for providing such an awesome opportunity through this contest and celebration of writing,” said Bonnie Welch, who oversaw the Humboldt young authors for each of the 19 years. “It has touched many students throughout the 19 years to hone their writing skills and give inspiration and confidence in the field of writing, whether for career or just enjoyment.
