Members of Iola’s Wesley United Methodist Church dished up Thanksgiving dinner for around 500 Wednesday night, as the church continued its annual tradition.
Barbara Leavitt, who coordinates the effort, said church members cooked up 25 turkeys and started preparing side dishes the day before.
“It’s our gift to the community,” said Leavitt.
