The contract for Jeremy McGinnis, head women’s soccer coach at Allen Community College for the past 13 years, will be terminated at the end of the current school year.

College trustees approved the termination at their monthly meeting Tuesday.

No reason was given. The termination decision is currently being appealed by McGinnis.

In addition, trustees accepted the resignation of Matthew Gleason, Allen’s vice president for finance and operations, and Sonia Gugnani, grant administrator and government relations officer, effective June 30. Both Gleason and Gugnani had been in their positions less than a year.

Trustees approved the hiring of Dr. Tara Lindahl as dean of academic affairs and Scott Weston as head volleyball coach. Trustees also approved the hiring of Michael Luken to the custodial and maintenance staff.
