The best one-hit wonders from the 1960s, ‘70s, 80s and ‘90s will be performed at 7 tonight at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center. These  are songs that  made a band famous — or infamous — for a brief moment in time.

They’re the songs that got stuck in your brain — for better or worse.

The members come from a diverse background.

Laura Ellis is a singer, actress, artistic director, and recording artist. She embraces many musical styles — from the songs of sweethearts and sirens in American cinema, to the favorite tunes of early Rock and Roll.

Originally from Birmingham, Ala., Todd Honeycutt has been singing all over the Los Angeles area since moving to L.A. from Atlanta in 2008. He has sung with the Los Angeles Master Chorale since 2010 and has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl.

Tonoccus McClain could be seen hosting FOX Family’s California Summer Countdown, reporting on Channel One News, performing in over 400 performances of the North American tour of “The Lion King,” as well as featured in LA Opera’s “Porgy and Bess” and in the LA Master Chorale for almost a decade.
