Kansas Sen. King, R-Independence, will be in Iola Monday as part of a two-week tour of southeast Kansas to discuss issues facing Kansas education.
King, appointed earlier this year to replace Derek Schmidt, will be at the Iola High School Lecture Hall at 5:30 p.m., prior to the USD 257 Board of Education’s regular meeting.
King’s event and the board meeting are open to the public.
King also will be in Yates Center on April 18 as part of his listening tour through all nine Kansas counties in the 15th Senate District. All of Allen County is in the district.
