A wind farm in northeast Allen County is moving closer to reality. In September EDP Renewals is expected to hand a proposal to county planners for construction of an electrical substation near the Allen-Bourbon counties line.
At Tuesday’s commission meeting, Alan Weber, county counselor, asked for a 10-minute executive session to discuss, under client-attorney privilege, particulars of EDP’s proposal to place turbines on a 15,000-acre tract in the northeast part of the county. No action occurred afterward.
