Vern Leon (Butch) Cuppet Jr., age 74, of Savonburg, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Butch was born Aug. 17, 1950, in Iola, Kansas, to Vern L. Cuppet Sr. and Maxine L. (Gooding) Cuppet.
Butch graduated in 1968 from Moran High School, Moran, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Shomaker.
Butch is survived by his sisters, Loretta Jameson and Jeanie (Matt) Mavec.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Joint Rural Alumni, Stark, Kansas, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
