Eletheamae Virginia (Drake) Heigele, 95, Osage Beach, Mo., passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, in Osage Beach.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Yates Center. She was the daughter of George R. and Edna (Stockebrand) Drake.
Eletheamae graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1940. She then attended Allen County Junior College. In 1942, she married Ballou Heigele in San Diego, California. Eletheamae was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola.
She is survived by her son, Robert, and wife Debbie; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
Eletheamae was preceded in death by her husband, Ballou, in 2014 and by her son, Randy, in 2002.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 U.S. 54, Iola.
