Harold Gene Mannschreck, 81, Le Roy, died at the Allen County Hospital on Aug. 9, 2018.
Harold was born on the home place at Le Roy, on Dec. 26, 1936, to Lee and Edna Geisy Mannschreck.
Harold grew up in Le Roy and graduated from Le Roy High School in 1955.
On Feb. 10, 1957, he married Norma Yoho, in Le Roy.
They made their home east of Le Roy, where Harold farmed. He also restored tractors and enjoyed hunting. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their various activities.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Randall Gene Mannschreck, and two sisters, Beatrice Mannschreck and Betty McKinney.
Harold is survived by his wife, Norma, of the home; his daughters, Debbie Applegate and her husband, Jay, and Karen Deal and her husband, Clinton, both of Le Roy; four grandchildren, Nolan and Tyler Applegate, Hillary Lott, and Kalyn Deal; four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Le Roy Assembly of God. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Logue Cemetery.
