Lillie Elneda Tidd, age 98, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Neosho Memorial Regional Hospital in Chanute. Lillie was born July 6, 1927, in Uvalde, Texas, to William James Blakney and Lillie Minerva (Whitaker) Blakney.
Lillie married Howard James Tidd on July 6, 1955, in Uvalde. She and Howard farmed for years in rural Iola.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard James Tidd; son, Donald Lee Tidd Sr.; and daughter, Shirley Snavely.
Lillie is survived by grandchildren Donald Lee Tidd Jr. (Corey Lindsey), Roy Tidd (Tanner Beauvais), Andrew Snavely, and Mark Snavely (Lauren).
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow the service in Iola Township Cemetery (one mile east of Piqua, Kansas).
Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola.
