Richard Ray Snyder, 74, of Iola, died Friday, May 1, 2026, at his home.
Richard Ray was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Fort Scott, to Lloyd Harold Snyder and Treva Eileen (Cannon) Snyder.
He married Judith (Judy) Ann Roecker on Aug. 30, 1971.
He was preceded in death by a son, Chad.
His wife survives, as do children, Carrie Snyder (Wes Beeman), Megan (Brian) Mantooth, Kevin (Tiffany) Snyder.
A visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at The Venue, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. A private burial will be held later.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Richard Ray Snyder Memorial Scholarship.
