As the weekend weather took a turn for the worse, so did Allen Community College’s soccer seasons.

The game stood at 1-1 for the rest of regulation, but the Panthers erupted in the overtime.

ung scored in the 94th minute to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead. Aiden Bennett

slammed the door with two more goals seven minutes apart to seal the win.

The men end with an 8-5-4 record.

IN WOMEN’S action, the Red Devils could not sustain the momentum from a thrilling 1-0 over Neosho County three days earlier, a victory that marked the 100th career win for head coach Jeremy McGinnis.

On Saturday, Johnson County held the ACC offense in check, while scoring on goals from Megan Everhart in the 20th minute and Jenna Knight in the 68th minute.

The Allen women end with a 9-5 mark.
