The Crest Lancers put Tuesday’s game against Altoona-Midway in cruise control by the second half in the 52-20 contest for their eighth-consecutive win.
Ahead 48-10 before the break, the Lancers opted for their bench while running a pass-happy motion offense to keep from running up the score. Junior guard Xander Fuller scored a team-leading 14 points while receiving an early night followed by senior guard Levi Prasko with 12 points. Sophomore guard Kole Walter and and it was all Lady Lancers from there. Sophomore forward Summer Valentine and senior guard Josie Walter had 12 points each. Senior forward Kinley Edgerton scored 10 points.
With the win, the Lancers improved to 8-1 overall and 5-1 in the TRL. They look to make it 6-1 and leapfrog Uniontown and Northeast for second in the TRL standings behind undefeated, 5-0 Jayhawk-Linn.
Tip-off for Thursday’s contest is 6 p.m.
