HUMBOLDT — Competition is tough at Humboldt Speedway in 2010.
In five weeks of racing, there have been five different winners in the modified class and the factory class. There have been different winners in the B-mods and the pure stock divisions.
Because of rain Thursday and Friday, the racing program was moved from Friday night to Sunday afternoon this week.
John Rossen claimed his first feature win of the season in the factory stock class. Scott Stuart finished second, followed by Colton Bunn. Matt Weintz and Shawn Hendren wrapped up the top five spots.
In the B-mod class, Levi McGowen led wire-to-wire. Jerry Kustanborter worked his way through traffic from 10th to run second in the feature race. Scott Collins placed third followed by Jim Daniels and Brad Smith.
In the pure stock feature, Roger Oswald claimed his second win of the season. Floyd Taggart finished second with Jeremy Willard in third. Mike Aiello was fourth and Paul Long took fifth.
Dan Daniels, Brian Bolin and John Allen were the heat race winners in the modified division. But it was Allen all the way, leading all 20 laps, of the feature race.
Allen made his move with two laps left to take second. Bolin finished third followed by Justin Folk and Chris Deaton.
